Becoming an employee of the Sprite Umbrella company is a simple process and one which provides peace of mind. Following our registration process you become an employee of our umbrella company and receive all the statutory benefits (sick pay, maternity pay, etc.) that you get from being employed. These are the same as you would get if you were engaged direct by your employment agency. Whilst employed by Sprite's umbrella company you may also be able to claim certain legitimate business expenses incurred whilst working that may result in an enhanced take home pay.

Umbrella companies have the benefit of falling outside of both the Managed Service Company Legislation (often referred to as MSC legislation) and IR35 legislation, both of which can cause headaches for agency workers and contractors alike.
