Gangmaster

Sprite has held a Gangmasters Licence Authority (GLA) Licence since September 2009 (number SPRI0002).

A gangmaster licence is required by any company supplying labour into a wide range of sectors including, agriculture, forestry, horticulture and the processing and packaging of food and drink. As one of a few umbrella companies to have been granted a licence Sprite understand the requirements and responsibility required by the GLA and are able to deal with any business operating in a GLA regulated sector wishing to engage workers employed by an umbrella company 

If you are currently supplying, or you intend to supply, into a GLA regulated sector you should be aware that it is a legal requirement for any any umbrella company used to be licensed by the GLA.
